Wanderers go top of Malawi TNM Super League
Mighty Wanderers FC on Saturday went top of the table of TNM Super League with a hard-fought 3-1 win over a battling Mzuzu United on Saturday at Mzuzu Stadium.
The blues has to come from behind to win the game.
The win takes the Nomads to the top of the league on 27 points from 13 matches while Mzuzu United are on eight points from 13 games.
Red Lions are second on 24 points also from 13 games. Mzuzu United have a game against Red Lions to finish the first round.

Wanderers coach Stewart Mbolembole said he was delighted to see his team claw their way back into the league top spot after producing a ‘fantastic’ display.
“I’m happy to be at the top. The players played fantastic football today and credit to them for their resilience,” said Mbolembole.
The Nomads were trailing 0-1 12 minutes into the first-half after a beautiful strike from Lucky Mauluka Nyoni put the hosts in front.
But Alfred Manyozo Junior brought Wanderers back into the game after scoring the equaliser in the 20th minute to make it one-one.
Kondwani ‘Scholes’ Kumwenda scored the second goal before Timothy Chitedze put the score beyond reach of Mzuzu United.
Elsewhere, Civo United beat struggling Evirom by the same margin in Lilongwe.
