Wanderers should release me to join Chingale FC in Mozambique -Chipuwa
Mighty Be Forward Wanderers and on and off Flames international goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa says he is optimistic that his club will give him a nod to join Mozambican Club Chingale FC after he successfully passed the trials.
This comes amid reports that Wanderers officials recently agreed not to release the player as he is still contracted to the Lali Lubani outfit.
Media reports recently also indicated that Wanderers officials were angry with Chipuwa because he left the country for Mozambique without
the blessings of his club.
But in an interview with a local radio on Thursday, Chipuwa claims he informed the club before departure.
Chipuwa has emphasized that he is not playing in Malawi this soccer season.
The on and off Flames goalkeeper has also trashed Wanderers claims that he still has a running contract at the club.
“I don’t have any contract with Mighty Be Forward Wanderers and I have never signed any contract since joining the club,” said Chipuwa.
Reports indicate that Chipuwa will get a K5.5 Million signing on fee at Chingale.
Meanwhile, Chipuwa says the deal with Chingale is just for one year with a possibility of extension based on his perfomance.
