Wanderers suffers Covid-19 impact: Players wage cut as Be Forward sponsorship down 50%

Mighty Be Forward Wanderers  Football Club they have reached an agreement with its  players and coaches on a salary cut due to the decision by its sponsor, Japanese used vehicle dealer, Be Forward Limited, to reduces  the club’s sponsorship  by half  due to effects of coronavirus pandemic.

The coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) has forced football across the world to be suspended and stall.

The club’s skipper Alfred Manyozo Jnr confirmed that players have agreed to take  wage reduction, although no paperwork is yet to be signed.

He said they were briefed on Saturday about the sponsor’s decision and the measure to lower players’ pay.
