Dollmabel Matte Lipstick to compete with Mac, Mary Kay says Mable Banda Khonje

Former Malawi beauty queen Mabel Banda Khonje has said she is geared for a major celebrity beauty lipstick launch of her brand Dollmabel this Friday, December 22 at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe with belief that she will compete with international major brands.

As lipstick lovers elsewhere in the world will be waiting for the launch of Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty line red lipsticks and Kylie Cosmetics expanding its lip line, in Malawi the beauties will be taken care by Dollmabel, a self-proclaimed lipsticks that looks incredible on all skin tones and designed with Malawian woman in mind.

“Dollmabel is specifically made for black people,” Mable enthuses.

Dollmabel, which is in different shades, also promises a lipstick so lightweight that women would forget they are wearing it.

Mabel is focused and ready to compete with big brands such as Mac, Mary Kay or Iman.

“I will launch Dollmabel lipstick in the Netherlands by January end and will launch it in the United Kingdom as well,” she disclosed

Mable, a mother of two and married to Sanderson Khonje, said her lipsticks it’s going to make just as much of a statement on black women’s vanity as it will on their lips.

According to the beauty mogul, her lipstick all incredibly luscious and luxurious as they cannot “stick on glasses or cups as other lipsticks do, but stays long.”

She says everything about the lipstick reflects her and Mable’s beautiful personality.

Dollmabel comes in 15 different shades although presently they have 10 shades available in stock.

Among others, Dollmabel Matte Lipstick comprises shades such as Prisca Liquid Matte, which was named after her late mother; Aaliyah Rose, Lotus Petal, Star, Wild Child, Dare, Fusion, Sahara Lippie, Amy Splash, Tira and Rose Gold.

She urges beauty lovers to get their hands on Dollmabel collection after the launch.

A mother of two sons  and married to Sanderson Khonje, Mable  moved to Netherlands to follow her partner and works as a consultant for a non-governmental organisation (NGO).

It is in Amsterdam where she started her research on the beauty line.

Organisers of the launch Klaus Media Corp have since said it is going to be  full of glamour and class.

Performances of music start Theo Thomson and George Kalukusha will spice the launch.
