Ngalande spent last season on loan to Platinum Stars where he failed to make an impact.

The Malawian has since been deemed surplus to requirements at the league title contenders along with the likes of Calvin Kadi and Papy Fatty.

Wits CEO Jose Ferreira also confirmed Gerald Phiri Jnr is not in coach Gavin Hunt’s plans for this season.

“He is not part our plans for this season. We are looking at the possibility of placing him elsewhere,” says Ferreira, who  dismissed suggestions the club could sign former Mamelodi Sundowns hitman Katlego Mashego.
