Woman exposed for stalking Malawi footballers
A South African based Malawian woman Catherine Gondwe entangled in controversy over claims that she has been impregnated by Flames defender Elvis Kafoteka, abortively tried to seduce another yet another Malawi footballer, it has been reported.
In a report published in Malawi’s lurid paper, The Weekend Times, Gondwe who is popularly known as ‘Cathy,’ is said to have sent her nude picture to Black Leopards’ enterprising player, Grant Lungu in a desperate attempt to coax the striker into sexual escapades.
But mother luck was not on her side as Lungu’s wife found the nude picture in June this year on her husband’s Facebook and exposed her by tagging the obscene picture to several people who included Cathy’s friends.
“After the wife found the picture, she tagged it to a number of people including Cathy. Cathy threatened to sue Grant’s wife for posting the picture on Facebook,” a source close to the soccer star’s wife told The Weekend Times.
It is alleged that Cathy apart from chasing Grant for sex, she also tried to lure several other Malawi national football team players.
A source told the paper that if is true that Kafoteka indeed impregnated the lady then he must have fallen into her trap.
“If it is true that Kafoteka was in a relationship with this woman, he could only be a victim of Cathy’s antics who has failed to seduce other players before,” the source told the paper.
But Kafoteka told the paper in an interview that she met Cathy at OR Tambo airport on his way from national duties in Tunisia and was in transit to Rwanda .
“I met her when we were returning from Tunisia. While the other players connected with their flight home, me and Victor found our connecting flight to Rwanda had already gone so we were in a bit of a fix,” said Kafoteka.
“She had come as a patriotic citizen with other South African based Malawians to welcome us at the airport. When she discovered we were stranded, she offered us a place to rest at her house but we turned it down,” Kafoteka added.
Kafoteka disclosed that the woman was using all sorts of illusions to compel him to wed her.
To prove that she was indeed in a sexual relationship with the Flames’ rear guard, Cathy provided Facebook conversations.
The conversations which have been sourced by Nyasa Times show that the two had a sexual relationship and confirming that they have had been spending quality erotic time together.
But Kafoteka maintains the two had a platonic friendship.
However, Cathy claims that Kafoteka changed tune after being notified of the pregnancy.
The woman further is claiming that that she trailed the Flames lanky defence pillar when Malawi he was part of the squad that played against the Botswana Zebra and that they had romps thereafter.
