In her speech, Kaliati commended Chisomo for the construction of the centre saying it will help in enhancing care and support for the kids.

Kaliati asked parents and guardians to take care of the facility as it will go along way in complementing government efforts in provision of quality ECD.

“Currently we have 12,000 ECD centres with the construction of this facility, the figure will not be the same, that is why we are thanking Chisomo Children’s  Club  and their donors,  Norwegian Church Aid for the project,” Said Kaliati.

Chisomo Children’s Club board member Sellina Kanyerere said they will continue building more ECD Centres providing kids with modern learning facilities.

Kanyerere said currently there are 320 kids who have enrolled at the centres because of the conducive learning environment.

During the function, T/A Kabudula urged the parents to take advantage of the modern facility built in his area by sending more kids to the centre.

Kabudula asked more organisations to come in his area and build more facilities of that nature.
