Dust is refusing to settle in one of Malawi’s netball giant MTL Queens since they were dumped by MTL company as they forfeited points on Saturday in the OG Issa Southern Netball League after failing to turn up for matches.
MTL Queens lost two games as they failed to turn up against Gerald Tasaukadala and Alliance Capital Stars.
The two teams were awarded three points and 150 baskets.
However, Complex Tigresses continued to shine in the league as they demolished Shizaella with 79-19 baskets before walloping Aquaid by 119 -9 baskets.
Blossoming Tigresses also clipped Alliance Capital stars 82-32 baskets.
Tigresses, who are leading on the log table, were unstoppable with the help of slippery shooter Sindi Simutowe, Ellen Chibokho, Lauren Ngwira and Beatrice Kadango.
Southern Region netball league general secretary Annie Hanjahanja said they were delighted with the league so far but was quick to stress that MTL Queens absence was worrisome in the development of the game.
Hanjahanja said they were not communicated on the failure of MTL to honour their fixtures.
