Corrupt judges to lead appeasement courts. Nyansi zenizeni. Now judges are as bad as politicians and as hypocritical as men of God. Fotseki. Palibe chabwino padziko.

Congratulations to everyone who has been promoted and appointed to serve the much needed justice in our beloved country, Malawi.

It is gratifying to see our great men and women in the judiciary being recognised and promoted to higher and much deserving positions.

Malawi’s judiciary is currently a shining star, exemplary, and many countries around the world are undoubtedly admiring us.

It is my hope and prayer that the diligence, dedication, and professionalism that our judges has shown the whole world, be sustained by all the newly appointed officials.

I cannot be any happier for our warm heart of Africa.

Its unfortunate the judiciary has traditionary used the first come first promotioned to supreme court. Am sorry to say some of those the judges appear dull and their judgements flawed and uninspiring.
Its time the judiciary start using merit when promoting judges like what they do when conferring lawyers Senior Counsel status. For instance it will not make sense to me if Potani is elevated to supreme court but Tembo is conferred SC.

A potani receiving their payment after job well done deceiving Malawians on election case. The Brazil route plan of toppling an incumbent was executed perfectly, now everyone is rewarded on top of billions. And Malawians are still non the wiser
