8 more tricycles up for grabs in TNM’s Tikolore promotion
Dream come true! A Thyolo based school leaver, Manuel Meheya, was all smiles when he finally received the tricycle he won in the ongoing TNM’s Tikolore Promotion.
The country’s premier mobile service provider rolled out the promotion as one way of celebrating the harvest season with their customers and all Malawians at large.
The main prizes are four tricycles to four lucky winners every month and the first draw was conducted early this month where Meheya emerged as one of the winners.
Meheya, who has just sat for Malawi Schools Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations, described the prize as a gift from God and that his dreams in terms of furthering studies will come to pass as the tricycle will now be the source of income.
“This is a gift from God and grateful to TNM. This will help me realize my dream through education as I will now be able to pay my school fees through the money I will be getting from the business,” said Meheya.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, TNM Marketing Manager Madalitso Jonazi said the company is excited that the promotion continues to change the lives of its customers.
“As TNM we are so happy today to present the first tri-cycle. It is very exciting to see that the customer is very happy and we believe that all customers are also happy with the promotion looking at the response we have received ever since we started the promotion,” said Jonazi.
Jonazi therefore encouraged their customers to continue participating in the promotion by simply recharging with a minimum of MK50.
“We have given out 8 tricycles so far and 8 more are up for grabs , so I would like to urge and encourage our valued customers to continue participating in the promotion and win the different prizes,” he said.
The company has also dished out bags of fertilizers, sprayers and other farming tools to over 2000 customers.
In addition to the main prizes, TNM subscribers also stand a chance to earn 50% bonus on their daily airtime recharge vouchers during the promotion.
To stand a chance of winning in the promotion, TNM customers need to top-up with a minimum of MK50.
A Tricycle—a mini vehicle with 3 wheels—is the main random prize in the promotion. There are a total of 16 mini vehicles to be won.
The promotion runs from 1st May to 31st August 2015. Only prepaid customers are eligible to enter.

No !, which major city roads are you talking about? You talk like a European or American. These tricycles are suitable as runabouts in our congested towns and cities. If you think tricycles are dangerous, what about motorcycles which are even smaller and have no cabover. These tricycles dont go fast at all and are suitable for shanting around towns, are cost effective to buy and run. That is what you need in a developing country.
Not bad!!
Comment one, go to Kenya, Tanzania and most of the East African Countries. This is the fastes nature of transport due to congestion in the cities.
Nanenso ndiwina yanga mwezi uno….

Mobile phone companies should stop cheating their customers when promoting these competitions that the more you recharge the more your chances are to win. The winner in this case is a school leaver and your guess is as good as mine as to how much airtime he spent as compared to say a Chief Executive of a company during the same period. So it’s just a question of ones luck basi. This competition is even worse as the bonus airtime which are given to everyone can only be used from 11pm to 5 am and TNM can agree with me… Read more »

WARNING:
These tricycles are extremely dangerous on major city roads, they are an upgrade of kabaza (bicycle transport) and should not be encouraged on congested city roads in Malawi. They are being banned in India due to numerous accidents and loss of life.
TNM should know better. You should be ashamed of giving people their death warrants as prizes!
