TNM happy with competitive 2016 season: K1.5mil ‘Predict & Win’ prize up for grabs

As the curtain is drawn  for the TNM Super League 2016 season this weekend, sponsor of the top flag league, Malawi’s integrated mobile network and ICT service provider, TNM is pleased with the level of competition displayed during the season.

TNM’s Senior Manager (Business Services) Limbani Nsapato said since the launch of the season in April there has been high level of competition amongst the teams as they fought for league honours.

“Since we launched the 2016 season, the elite league has registered mouth-watering action and high turn up of fans at the matches. It is our hope that the level of competition shall get even higher and the games will become even more competitive and exciting in the upcoming season,” said Nsapato.

Nsapato congratulated the team that will be crowned champion on Saturday and saluted those that are destined for relegation for putting up a good fight.

“It hasn’t been an easy road as demonstrated by the level of competition which shall see the champion being determined on the very last day.

He also thanked all football stakeholders including supporters for the turning up at the stadia to support their teams throughout the season.

“We have finished the 2016 season with minimal serious incidences of violence or hooliganism. This has been achieved because of the commitment of the fans, the clubs and football administrators to stamp out hooliganism,” he said

In a related development, the Senior Manager announced that the Predict & Win promotion which TNM has been running concurrently with the 2016 season winds up on 31st December.

According to Nsapato, the final Predict & Win game is the match between defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets and Blue Eagles that will be played at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday.

“This game is the last opportunity for soccer fans to increase their chances of winning the K1.5 million grand prize plus other weekly and monthly prizes such as airtime, K50,000 weekly and K100,000 monthly,” said Nsapato.
