Pastor Esau Banda to hold ‘special breakthrough’ service for maritable singles

Pastor Esau Banda of Pentecost International Christian Centre (PICC) has organized an anointing and breakthrough service for people who wish to get married soon.

The service with a theme “I must settle maritally”  will take place on Saturday June 24th at PICC headquarters church premises in area 49 in Lilongwe and Pastor Esau Banda will be the one ministering the word of God to the singles.

Announcing about the special service during the second service on Sunday June 18, Pastor Banda emphasized those eligible participants to attend the meeting should be single people who are matured and willing to get married.

“This meeting is for single people who are matured for marriage and have reached an appropriate age for marriage. I do not expect children of 13 years of age to attend the service because they are not ripe for marriage,” he said

Banda, who is also an author of several books on marital issues, said the service would center on psalms 68 verse 6, which reads “God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.”

He said the service is not confined to PICC members only but even those that do not attend PICC are welcome because he believes a nation to have productive citizens it all culminates from a happy home with strong marriages built on godly values.

Banda said that a lot of marriages are falling apart because of the foundations that the marriages are built on are not strong hence the significance of the singles service.

“It is important to instill Christian and biblical values in our youths especially those that are mature for marriage so that they should build strong marriages that are exemplary,” he said

PICC has over 6 churches across the country and it runs on a mandate of giving hope to the hopeless, life to the dying and helping them become true disciples of Jesus.

Its important to know that well founded marrieges are good materials for a child’s well upbringing. This is a very important forum where singles can learn ways of how to take their marital responsibillities once they join the league. May The Lord increase your area of influence Pastor. We hope your will reach out the whole Malawi.

Zauchitsiru basi. Strong marriages have nothing to do with the stupid Bible nor Christianity. Unless you can show me stats that show kuti people in countries where Christianity is unpopular experience high rates of divorce.
