Chimodzi and Mgangira take charge of Silver

Silver Strikers technical director  Young Chimodzi and  assistant team manager Peter Mgangira have taken charge of the team following the suspension of coach Lovemore Fazili and team manager Francis Songo following the team’s poor form in the TNM Super League.

Fazili and Songo have not been reporting for duties at the training ground with Chimod\i and Ngangira taking control on a temporary basis.

The Bankers are third on the 16-team log table with 37 points with a game in hand.

They are nine points behind leaders Nyasa Big Bullets and two adrift of second placed and defending champions Be Forward Wanderers.

But Mgangira said they believes  the can “turn this season around.”

He believes Chimodzi has what it takes to get the best out of  the talented squad.

Chimodzi refused to  comment.

The technical panel signed a performance-based two-year contract early this year.
