CDH Investment Bank posts K41bn profit after tax, up 124% for first half of 2026

CDH Investment Bank has reported a Profit After Tax of K41 billion for the six months ended 30 June 2026, marking a 124 percent increase on the K18.3 billion recorded over the same period in 2025.

The bank’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Thoko Mkavea, said the results reflect the strength of the bank’s focused strategy, effective execution and operational efficiency.

“These outstanding results are a direct result of the hard work and commitment of our people, the unwavering support we receive from our board, our loyal customers, valued partners, regulators and all our stakeholders,” he said.

Mkavea added that CDH Investment Bank remains focused on sustainable growth within its target market and will continue partnering with stakeholders to contribute positively to Malawi’s economic development.

He extended his appreciation to every member of the CDH Investment Bank family and its stakeholders for their continued trust, hard work and support.
