Airtel Malawi express shop in Kasungu

Malawi’s leading mobile network provider Airtel Malawi Thursday opened an Express shop in the tobacco growing district of Kasungu.

The development, Airtel Malawi Retail Manager Teddie Chanza said, is in line with its renewed drive to deliver exceptional customer service to telecoms consumers across the country.

“Just like any proactive business player, Airtel focuses on offering solutions to customers and we realize that business requires nice premises,” said Chanza.

Among other things, the shop will offer airtime and handset sales, Airtel Money services, SIM replacements, Airtel data experience zone through free WIFI as well as accord customers an opportunity to experience Airtel internet on mobile devices.

He said the opening of the shop represents Airtel’s commitment to offer telecommunications products and services in a modern, amazing atmosphere whilst according customers the best convenience and telecommunications solutions.

“The most beautiful and appealing factor to us as Airtel is to satisfy a customer fully with our various products, services and solutions,” he said.

Guest of honour at the function, deputy Mayor of Kasungu Municipality Ephate Joshua, commended Airtel for the newly opened shop.

Joshua urged Airtel to reduce prices of their products and services so that they are more accessible to the public.

He said mobile phones are no longer luxuries but necessities in life.

He hailed Airtel Malawi saying it has proved to be an instrumental corporate citizen which has helped to uplift lives of many people and various key sectors of the nation-like education and the health sector.

Airtel sbould start helping Malawi in infrastructure development. Why should a new office/shop be such a badly designed building. A building carrying so much cement on its head. Very ugly and colonial and medievial.
