Airtel Malawi presents K1m each to three winners in Tipate promo
Airtel Malawi, a leading mobile service provider in the country on Wednesday officially handed over K1million cheque to three customers each out of six who emerged winners in the 4th draw of Tipate Promotion.
The remaining will get their cheques in their respective regions.
Speaking during the handover ceremony of the cheques in Lilongwe, Airtel Malawi’s Regulatory Director Wilson Kyumba said the company is giving everybody a chance to experience Airtel services including the current promotion which gives a platform to engage customers of all classes.
“I am sure that the winners will no longer be the same with these cash prizes. I hope that they will invest their money into something tangible to fend for their lives,” he observed.
He added that the company will continue to be responsive to the customer needs and would continue to roll out various services that are customer centered.
One of the winners Benny Phiri said the money has come at a right time when he was preparing school fees for his children as well as boost his transport business.
“I was not expecting to be among the lucky winners in this promotion. Iam very happy,” he said.
He therefore advised people who have not joined the network to do so and be among the lucky people like him.
Other winners who have collected their K1million cheque include Asaf Chimpeni and Andrew Mmanga,
