American gospel singer, Don Moen on Thursday arrived in the country to spice up Love Malawi Festivals over the weekend and said he has come with a full band to perform with him in what he called a blessing for the nation.
Moen is scheduled to perform on both Saturday and Sunday at the evangelist effort aimed at fostering unity, hope and love.
He arrived at Kamuzu International Airport on board South African Airways with his six piece band.
“Its my first time to be here but its very beautiful country,” he said.
“I usually don’t travel with my band. It costs a lot of money to bring a band. But I have come with full band which is a blessing to Malawi and I am looking forward to the event,” he said in an interview.
He added: “It is good to be in Malawi, warm reception and beautiful people. I am looking forward to a great weekend.”
Moen will be joined by a number of local and international artists including US’ Dave Lubben as well as KBG Soldiers, Great Angels, KBG, Faith Mussa, Suffix, and the Love Malawi Choir.Follow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
