Another top league player dies in Malawi
A striker playing for Malawi’s top football league side Airborne Rangers died while undergoing military training.
The striker Leonard Mgomezulu died on Sunday while being treated at Kamuzu Central Hospital where he was referred to after collapsing and sustaining injuries while training.
Mavuto Chimbayo Chairman of Rangers, one of the five military teams playing in the top league described the deceased as big loss to the club who was among the team’s sharp shooters.
Mgomezulu becomes the second player to die within a month after Noel Mlelemba under similar circumstances.

Bwinotu training ya maparachuti anuwa. Mutha ana. Kaya mumaomberana ndi malive bullet. Samalani. Do not experiment with human life at all. Foolish training officers. You work as army officer for 20 years with facing live bullet in battle, then do you need to face it in training field. Thats nonsense. stop it please.
