Mechro Systems Solutions, a leading innovative firm in the country, has announced the launch of an application – Temp-Cras – which can help people and industries in the perishable goods business to monitor temperatures of their goods without struggle.

Alinafe Kaliwo: Announces launch of new app

Alinafe Kaliwo, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Mechro Systems told Nyasa Times in an interview that the innovation makes it easy to track temperature of cold rooms, refrigeration systems and cold vans.

“With the application we are offering in-transit temperature monitoring solutions featuring alarming capabilities as well as reporting and GSM cellular technology.

“One access their temperature data while it is on the go and save themselves from the hustles and bustles of having to manually monitor temperature for their sensitive goods,” explained Kaliwo.

For a very long time, Nyasa Times understands, producers of perishable goods such as fruits, meat and milk have has the problem of adverse temperature conditions damaging their products because temperature variations happen without warning and have eventually lost thousands, at times, even millions of cash and resources.

For example, some of the features that the system has include live display of temperature readings and variations, use of graphs and charts to help visualize temperature variations as well as sending temperature readings and warnings through SMS to pre-programmed phone numbers.

Kaliwo said the application can also be used in blood transmission in blood transporting vans and blood boxes.
