Mighty Be Forward Wanderers technical panel is planning to offload almost eleven of its players who have not frequently been used in the ongoing 2015 soccer season, Nyasa Times has established.
Club Vice General Secretary Christopher Kananji confirmed the development but said the players will not be completely booted out but they will rather be loaned to other clubs to enable them enjoy game time.
“We don’t want to just keep players who are not playing but we should rather release them on loan to other clubs and later recall them next season,” said Kananji.
Although Kananji could not reveal names of players to be released, a well placed source inside Wanderers camp confided in Nyasa Times that the list include Khumbo N’gambi, Elia Munthali and Victor Mpinganjira.
“We are waiting to get recommendations from our technical staff on who to keep and who to release” said the Vice General Secretary.
Meanwhile, Kananji has confirmed that the Lali Lubani outfit is targetting to sign Epac F.C defender Boston Kabango.
Still on transfers, Super League defending champions Big Bullets are set to rope in Azam Tigers play maker Yamikani Chester and Dedza Young Soccer man of the moment Chisomo Mpachika.
Their Vice General Secretary Kelvin Moyo confirmed on Sunday and promised to inform the nation on how discussions will be progressing.
The transfer window is expected to close on 21st August, 2015.
