Big Brother Africa 2014: Miss Uganda in, guess who the Malawian representative is?

Africa’s biggest and the most lively reality show Big Brother Africa has ultimately revealed its first three contestants to the house; Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe contestants are the first ones to be unveiled.

Malawian housemate is set to be revealed for the 2014 edition of reality tv show that starts next month and dubbed ‘Hotshots’. Three housemates will be revealed every day hence on.

Amongst  the three housemates revealed on the official Big Brother Africa website on Thursday morning is  the current, reigning Miss Uganda, Stella Nantumbwe.

Nantumbwe described herself as romantic and adventurous, and that she liked being a woman because of the power that comes with it.

Going by the name Ellah (derived from Stella) Natumbwe was unveiled together with Alusa from Kenya, a male, and Butterfly, a female, from Zimbabwe.

This year’s Big Brother Africa show, Season 9, was supposed to have started on September 7th, but a huge fire engulfed the original house and it was put off. Another house has been identified and the show will start on October 5th.

The house for Big Brother Hotshots was concluded and will be revealed on October 5 officially, after organisers explored both international and local options.

Countries that will participate in BBA this year are Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the newest entrant to the TV reality show-Rwanda.

  15. What really is Big Brothers benefit to Malawi kodi? Not that I am against it or anything. Let’s see;

    (1) Zein Duda came out & continued being a mamas boy & a drug addict (got into rehab twice since 2003).

    (2) Watipaso Kulemeka akupitiliza kudya chamba & drinking sachets pa PTC ya area 10 – disgracing his successful & respected father. Uyu tinabetsa koopsa.

    (3) Lomwe came out & blew the little money (zinafika pogulitsa ma ipad mpaka kumakasungidwa ndi DJ nzake ya lendi ikusowa) & now he is loafing in South Africa akumangopempha embarrassing us Malawians – koma kuzipopa pa fesibuku,

    (4) Fatima Nkata, well…..

    The exceptions are CODE & Hazel Warren, they used their fame to catapult their businesses, they are doing somewhat okay (by our mediocre standards). Wina ndayiwala ndani? Ndikumbutseni.

      Natasha is an aspiring politician and a successful business woman, she is running her own restaurant and two other businesses and a charity organisation. she is the sole provider and guardian to 15 people who all live under her roof….a lot more than can be said about you!!
      Fatima she is a social activist whose voice carries more weight than most of you would ever dream of… follow current affairs or better yet mupezeni ku Social media! she is Marketing manager and brand ambassador for KIA, IVECO and Land Rover and she too is involved in charity work and has maintained a position of interacting discision makers at all levels in the country including presidents. simunaone inu wina anapeleka 1.5 million kwacha to charity just to dance with her ku state house? she can pay your rent, your salary and send your ana anu ku school with 5 minutes of her time!

      just because they dont talk in public about their activities does not mean ndi zitsiru ngati inu! pitani ku big brother inuyo tikaone mukabwerako ndi chani!

      1. Natasha and Fatima are simply failures indeed. For Fatima, she might be working with the Asians and earning peanuts and never seen her at HTD motors as claimed. Natasha is also a big failure who was contemplating running as an MP for Balaka at one point, just to please JB that women are joining politics
