The Area 30 Cops will face the winner between TN Stars and Prison United in the round of 16 phase.

As the Eagles were having an easy ride over Embangweni, things were not all that rosy for Super League side Master Security Services at
the MDC Stadium.

The Super League debutants were beaten 1-0 to bow out of the competition at an early stage thanks to a Wachimwa Sadiki loan strike.

They join other super league clubs already knocked out namely Azam Tigers and Mzuni FC.

Master Security Coach Benjamin Kumwenda expressed disappointment after the match and had no kind words for his charges.

“I am very disappointed that we have lost and it is by our own making. The boys were not commited, just played like it was a practice match and the biggest mistaje was to underrated their opponents,” Kumwenda
told reporters after the final whistle.

According to Kumwenda, his players realised late that their opponents were in for serious business after they had already conceded a goal.

“It was difficult for us to come back into the game because with the goal they scored, they developed confidence in themselves and were
also too much into making some delaying tactics which frustrated my boys further” he said.

Meanwhile, Kumwenda said their exit in the Carlsberg Cup is a blessing in disguise as they will now fully concentrate in league games.

Elsewhere, in the Carlsberg Cup round of 32 matches played on Wednesday, Premier Bet Wizard lost 3-1 through post match penalties
against Zomba based soldiers Red Lions after the two sides settled for a 1-1 draw after regulation time.

Mafco FC beat Central Region Football League side Chitedze Strikers 2-0 with goals from Chikondi Maloya and Calisto Kalinda.

So far, two games involving TN Stars and Prison United as well as Blantyre United against Rumphi Medicals are the only remaining fixture to complete the Round of 16 list.
