Bucci releases ‘Disappear’ video ahead of WTW launch

He is back, back on the scene for good. While Bucci’s fans might be salivating to have a taste of his much anticipated Worth The Wait (WTW) mix-tape on Saturday (May 28th), the anticipation might as well be heightened up with the release of his 2016 first video, Disappear.

Disappear video, released on Wednesday May 25th, can only be described as a game changer in as far as local music video production is concerned.

The song is a sound-track to yet-to-be released movie ‘Sponge’ shot in Atlanta in USA and Malawi. Bucci also makes cameo appearance in the movie.

Directed by Chaz- who also developed the concept- Disappear video has been shot and produced by Sukez of HD Plus Creations. The quality of the video befits the concept and the strides the Nde’feyo’s signee is undertaking currently.

The video has been shot in various locations in Blantyre and featured former Miss Warm Heart beauty contest winner Aisha Chiwaula. It is, obviously, a video of international quality; and it won’t be surprisingly if it gets any foreign recognition.

While people will be captivated by the concept and video quality, the song itself is also emotionally moving, soul-hitting, and clearly sets new standards for the artist himself who is eagerly waiting to sing his lungs out on Saturday as he launches his first professional mix-tape WTW at Chrichi Garden in Chitawira, Blantyre.

The 20-track mix-tape features the Disappear song, MCM and don’t Be late featuring Sangie among other new tracks. It has been recorded at Nde’feyo studios and features other artists such Marcus of daredevils, Dali and Classmates among others.

According to one of the Nde’feyo’s directors, Khumbo Kabuzi Munthali Bucci’s yet-to-be named album is set for release later this year.

“This (Disappear video) is one of good things to come from Nde’feyo as well as Bucci. He is an international artist and deserves a video of international standard,” explained Munthali.

“It is our goals and ambitions to put Malawi on the map. We feel Bucci deserves the best being multi-talented artist who has a lot to offer to the nation and the world as whole”.

Worth The Wait launch is expected to be curtain-raised by other urban artists such as Theo Thomson, Dali, Trap squad, Mafo, Fredokiss, Sangie, Toast, Classmates, saint, Marcus of Daredevils and others.

Days after the release, the Disappear video has over 1,400 views on youtube and can be accessed on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJtBGujLQ14.
