Bullets and Wanderers win as FDH Premiership race tightens
The FDH Bank Premiership title race has tightened after a busy round of fixtures, with FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Wanderers both picking up crucial wins.

Bullets grind out a win
At Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe, Bullets claimed maximum points against Masters Football Club in an entertaining contest.
The People’s Team started on the front foot, but Masters’ defence frustrated attacks led by Misheck Billiat, Clever Kalambo and Ephraim Kondowe.
Kalambo broke the deadlock in the 44th minute, but the lead lasted only moments.
Frank Sanudi equalised for Masters almost immediately, and the sides went in level at 1-1.
Bullets came out again with fresh legs, bringing on Tinaye Tsimba, George Chaomba and Madalitso Safuli for Kondowe, Kalambo and Chawanangwa Gumbo.
The change worked. Billiat stepped up to score the winner, and Bullets held on to the finish.
Masters tried to hit back with substitutes Patrick Phiri and Blessings Mofolo, replacing Rafick Namwera and Vincent Mark, but could not find an equaliser.
Wanderers stay in touch
In Blantyre, Mighty Wanderers beat Goshen City Dedza Dynamos thanks to a brace from Lameck Mithi.
The win kept the Nomads within touching distance of the summit.
A three-point race
Only three points separate leaders Bullets from second-placed Wanderers.
With the season entering its crucial stage, every point could decide the title.
