Bullets faces Wanderers in four-team bonanza

Four Blantyre based outfits- Mighty ‘Nyerere’ Wanderers, Big Bullets, Escom United and Blantyre United will rock horns in a bonanza fiesta on Saturday at the giant Kamuzu Stadium in an aim to promote their replica merchandise.

The Replica jerseys are being sold by Kings Marketing Agency on behalf of the clubs.

Kings Marketing official Chikondi Chimera told with Nyasa Times that the first game will involve Escom United and Blantyre United before the final match between arc rivals Mighty Wanderers and Big
Bullets.

Bullets time to reclain lost glory

He also revealed that the bonanza will be covered live on MBC TV.

Mighty Wanderers team manager Mac Hodges Chunga has vowed to continue where they stopped in the capital city to whip Bullets for the second time.

“Nyerere will be Nyerere come Saturday because Bullets ndi akazi athu (Bullets are our wives). Our supporters is that they should come in large numbers to witness Nyerere beating Bullets for the second,” said Chunga.

The Nomads, who missed the 2011-2012 TNM Super League title with a whisker, will bank their hopes on young and upcoming Gerald ‘junior’ Phiri, who has been outstanding in the previous games for the
Lali-Lubani boys.

But Bullets coach Eddie Ng’onamo said he will use the Bonanza to start claiming their lost ground.

@We want to reclaim our lost glory and the bonanza will be a start of things to come,@ he said.

Meanwhile VIP tickets will be sold at the price of K4,000, Covered Stand K2,500 with MBC Stand pegged at K1’500 while open stands will cost spectators K200.
