Nyasa Big Bullets FC is confident that striker Chiukepo Msowoya will put pen to paper on a new deal at the champions, according to club vice-general secretary Kelvin Moyo.
Chiukepo’s future at the People’s Team has been in doubt after he turned down a contract offer and with reports that rivals Mighty Be Forward Wanderers were monitoring his situation as they are interested to lure him to the Lali Lubani Roads.
He said the club’s finance committee is discussing with the player.
“We are still in talks with him,” said Moyo.
Chiukepo has said he is now a free agent, and that his future with Bullets hangs in balance, saying he was not happy with the contract which the champions offered him.
Asked if whether he believes that the Bullets will offer an improved deal, he said: “I think so, yes.”
If there will be no improved deal, Chiukepo said he will not hesitate to seek greener pastures, be it at Wanderers or any club.Follow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
