Bullets skipper Fischer plans to retire at end of season

Big Bullets captain Fischer Kondowe also known as ‘Anong’a by his fans is contemplating of quitting football by the end of 2012 – 2013 soccer season.

“This is my last season in the game of football and it is my wish to win my team several cups including the Standard Bank before hanging my boots for other personal businesses,” he said.

Kondowe the former right winger for Malawi’s national football team, Flames, has been influential at both club and national level as he has won his club several cups.

These include the just ended Presidential Cup, and Super League titles as well as providing vital services to the national team.

Some soccer pundits believe that his departure will be a big blow to the Bullets’ family.
