Team manager Rahim Ishmael confirmed that the champions had lined up a bid to bring goalkeeper Brighton Munthali, Levison Maganizo and Mike Mkwate among others to the Red Army.

He said goalkeeper Munthali would fit in the team’s next season plans as they intend to strengthen the goalkeeping department.

Maganizo will add steel in the midfield and is touted to step into the shoes left by hard tackler James Chilapondwa who is set to retire after Sunday’s game against Civo United.

“FISD have definitely players who are skilful and young that we are hoping to get them following the team’s relegation from the TNM Super League,” Ishmael said.

“Goalkeeper Bright Munthali is good and has a promising future. So we are hoping that we will get three or four players.”

Bullets’ interest comes barely days after FISD Technical Director Peter Mponda opened to teams intending to get their players, saying as they will not be blocked to join any Super League team.

But Mponda warned that the teams should be open as they would not release the players without following proper transfer procedures.

FISD Wizards were promoted from the Southern Region Football Association League under Surestream Academy before Mponda managed to breakaway after heated a dispute with the management.
