Harvey Nkacha scored the only goal of the match in the 24th minute.

The result means that Bullets have only managed to collect a single point from a possible nine in three weeks.

They first lost to rookies Karonga United 0-1 before being held 1-1 by Wizards FC last weekend.

The soldiers who displayed a gallant perfomance from the word go could have won the game with a wider margin but they were wasteful upfront with Manase Chiyesa being the major culprit.

Bullets goalkeeper Ernest Kakhobwe was also the busiest man as K.B launched a number of fierce attacks.

They however struggled to match the in form Kamuzu Barracks as they were also missing the services of some of their key players including Yamikani Fodya who was on yellow card suspension, Emmanuel Zoya and Dalitso Sailesi who are indured as well as Miracle Gabeya and George Nyirenda who sneaked out of the country to South Africa during the week to undergo trials at Chippa United in South Africa.

Speaking to reporters after the match, Bullets Team Manager Rahim Ishamael admitted his side came second best.

Ishamael attributed the loss to missing out of some of their key players who are injured while others were on suspension.

He however turned down assertions that they must have lost to K.B due to internal squables that included training boycott by the players who have been demanding their signing on fees.

On the other hand, the winning coach Billy Phambala was on cloud nine.

“I thank the boys for the wonderful perfomance they played well from the first up to the last whistle. I have all the reasons to celebrate because we have beaten who call themselves giants” said a jubilant Phambala.

Nyasa Bullets completes their tour to Lilongwe this weekend on Sunday as they first struggling Civo United at the Civo Stadium .

In another fixture on Saturday, Wizard FC lost to visiting Epac FC 1-0 courtesy of an Anthony Banda strike.
