“This plea goes not only to people from Malawi, those that are outside the country can do same and we will be grateful to receive the assistance to our fellow brothers and sisters in need of help,” said Chitekwe.

He added that the students union plans to construct a hostel that is to help in mobilizing resources for the students in need of financial aid towards their education.

Registrar of the University Francis Nkhoma commended the students union for the initiative that is to help those deserve quality education offered by the university not to be left out.

Nkhoma also advised the current students’ union leaders to pass the spirit of supporting needy students to other leaders that are to come after them.

During the dinner and dance, people that attended made pledges to assist students in need of financial assistance.

charity begins at home.some of the students do have more than what they need as kids from well to do.a small act matters than nothing.
learn how to share the little you have. thats the spirit of christianity.not just waiting frm the well wishers.
SET THE EXAMPLE ,THEN WAIT AND SEE THE MUCH MORE POURING OF BLESSES
