Fire guts Leopard Match offices

Property worth millions have been destroyed as a blaze swept at Leopard Match Limited  in Blantyre.

Fire fighters from Blantyre City Council (BCC) rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire.

“We don’t know what caused the fire but it has been extinguished,” said one of the fire engineers.

But one of the workers said the fire was caused by production of fire matchstick.

No injuries were reported.
