Chande who signed for Wanderers earlier this season has been out of action since sustaining a calf injury during Wanderers draw away to Dwangwa 2 weeks ago.

However speaking to Nyasa Times ahead of this weekend’s derby, Chande said he can’t wait for the showdown.

“I pray that I recover fully ahead of Saturday’s game. I have always said that my decision to join Wanderers was not based on money. I wanted to join a team which I would feel loved. However I don’t have grudges against my former team. I made my name there and I feel it would be bad to disrespect my former employers,” said Chande.

Asked on how he intends to celebrate if he scores against his former employers on Saturday, Chande said he will have to do it in a special way .

“It’s a question of being fit. If I get the chance of playing on Saturday, be assured that I will score. I won’t celebrate if I score. However, if I happen to be on the score sheet twice, then I can do it in a special way.

“We have a very strong team compared to our opponents but it’s a matter of getting our tactics right. We just need to defend well because they (Bullets) are a good team too. We have all the chances of getting a win over Bullets come Saturday,” said Chande.

The 2 teams shared a point a piece during their previous meeting.
