Channel for All Nations celebrates 10th anniversary in style

In a rare gesture of celebrating 10 years of broadcasting  in the country, Channel for All Nations radio staff on Saturday 20th December, paraded in some parts of Lilongwe to interact with their audience in order to appreciate how the station has impacted people in its programming.

It was a day full of excitement as people were privileged to interact with different radio personalities.

The  celebration was also marked with different activities like music and poems by well known poets like Robert Chiwamba, Humble C and Samuel Joseph.

Speaking in an interview Station Manager Mphatso Chidothe thanked the public, International Christian Assembly (ICA) Church and Management for supporting the station in the past 10 years.

“I would like to thank our listeners, ICA Church and the whole management for their contributions in the growth of the station, in 10 years down the line, we have been facing several challenges in terms of finance and human resources but together we never said die,”she said

Chidothe said as the station is starting another journey people should expect quality educative, entertaining and informing programmes and that CAN will continue spreading the Gospel.

She also added that the celebrations will last for months with a gala night dinner slated for February 2015 where among others there will be awards  of personnel who have worked with CAN for the past 10 years.

As part of the celebration C.A.N has also organized a Gospel Show dubbed “Christmas Bash” which will see different artist coming together. The show will take place 26 December at Sheaffer ICA Marque in Lilongwe.

There will be live performances by Allan Ngumuya, Mlaka Maliro, Evance Meleka, Kondwani Chirwa, Maxwell Ollotto, Peter Uyu Mlangeni, Marvelous Deeds, Sister Miriam Kuseni, Confidence Voices, Favoured Martha, King David, Prophetess Loyce Kamundi and many others.

According to Marketing Office Chifuniro Kandaya, the show will attract entry fee of K1000 .

Channel for All Nations is a media department of International Christian Assembly (ICA), a local church of the Malawi assemblies of God.

bola inu mwatulutsa ma tshirt for only 10years but on 5th December MBC was celebrating 50years of its existence but there was no cloth or tshirt that would add a symbol of longer bloadcasters,but you C A N have managed a non profit channel bravo to you and a big SHAME to MBC management,yr friends have done it and am sure these tshirts were given to every jimu and jack no selective
