Chidale, Makin win in Sparc Systems Golf
Paul Chidale and Sue Makin emerged winners of the inaugural Sparc System Golf Tournament at Lilongwe Golf Club on Saturday above a field of 76 golfers.

Chidale won with 40 points ahead of his runner-up AdakiSailesi with a score of 38 points while Ash Godambe was third on 37 points.
Herbert Rwamibazi was nearest to the pin while Medson Roka had the longest drive.
Speaking at prize presentation, said the victory was sweet at a time he was also celebrating the birth of his first-born daughter and just weeks after relocating to the Capital City.
“ I am very excited. I thank the sponsors for hosting such a wonderful tournament,” said Chidale .
In the women’s category, Makin came tops with 35 points. She also had the longest drive on hole number 13.
Her runner-up was Sandra Komakech who counted out Jochebed Mpanga.
Sparc Systems managing director Wisely Phiri said the inaugural tournament in Lilongwe was a success, saying it is “a good platform to interact with customers.”
Phiri pledged to sponsor again the tournament.
The winners were rewarded with trophies and shopping vouchers ranging from K10 000 to K50 000.
