Chikwawa Utd on top of SR League

Lower Shire premier division giants, Chikwawa United are still flying on top of the 2017 Southern Region Masters Security League with 50 points.

Chikwawa United on Saturday used home ground advantage to collect three points after crushing Chanco FC  4- 2.

In other games played over the weekend, Nchalo United which is second on the log table with 42 points beat Be Forward Reserve 3-0.

Mangochi Challengers are on the third position with 41 points after hammering MDF Marine 4-0.

Zomba United are on fourth position with 37 points after playing a 1-1 draw with Changalume Barracks which is on position 12 with 18 points.

Bvumbwe United and students from The Polytechnic played a goalless draw to share a point while Cobe Barracks humbled Ndirande icons 2-1.

Mangochi United beat Hard Knockers 2-0 while Nsanama and Nanzikambe game ended 1-0 in favour of Nsanama boys.

Be Forward Reserve resurrected Sunday after hammering Nsanama 2-0 while Nchalo United suffered a 3-2 defeat to Jali Rangers.

Changalume Barracks stopped White Eagles from collecting three points after beating them  2- 1 in Blantyre.

Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) Vice General Secretary, Kingsley Simbeyi said the association is satisfied with how week 11 of the league has faired.
