Chinamuluma Chakuda in UK: Skeffa performs in Nottingham Feb 21

Malawi’s enterprising music loyalty, silky-voiced Skeffa Chimoto will next week Saturday invade the United Kingdom for a music fiesta for the first time since transforming himself as the country’s music powerhouse to give his Diaspora music fans a breathtaking and thrilling tuneful experience.

Skeffa: Nottingham here I come

The Chinamuluma Chakuda hit-maker who is dubbed the ‘Jamming Machine’ is expected to put up a his maiden gig at the Hyson Green Youth Centre in Forest fields, Nottingham, NG7 6ER on Saturday 21st February, 2014 and promises music fireworks.

The show comes after his performance in Dublin , Republic of Ireland on February 13.

In an interview with Nyasa Times, the show-stopping songster emphasized that all is set for the show saying that he is ready to entertain and give the patrons an invigorating performance.

“I am ready for the show and I promise my fans and music lovers to brace themselves for an exciting time. I will give them the best. Everything is all set and I promise to give scintillating concert. I have always wanted to play for my fans in the UK and this is my breakthrough, so I will give them a good run for their money,” said Skeffa.

The M’dzafe Md’zaole ine singer therefore encouraged Malawians and music lovers in the UK to come in large numbers for the show saying that it’s gonna be an epic performance.

“It will be a time to remember because I will rock the night away with music explosives. This is a promise. I will dish out the best performance ever,” guaranteed the soft-spoken singer.

One of Skeffa Chimoto’s UK tour promoters, Joseph Chitipula, proprietor of Zelina Music Company  (ZMC) popularly known as DJ Josey, said they decided to give Malawians in the UK a special treat by bringing to them one of Malawi’s best music talent to have emerged in the recent times.

According to Chitipula the Mbuye Ndalitsani wokondedwa wanga star’s action-packed performance will be supported by Malawian Scotland based artiste Brave M’nyayi aka ‘Black Seed’, former Nyasa Gurus lead singer.

“Everything is in place. We urge all Malawians and all the music lovers to come and support us. It will surely be a great night out as Skeffa (Chimoto) is geared to entertain the music lovers to the maximum. If you choose to snooze on this night, you will surely loose out. This is a big night,” explained Chitipula.

Cover charge for entry into the concert hall is £20 per head and the doors will be open from 8:00 PM until late.

Apart from the live music performances, there will also be popular Malawian DJs on the decks fixing and mixing danceable tunes on the turntables according to Chitipula.
