CTS boss names Prophet Bushiri as her inspiration amid growing business empire

A Malawian business boss has revealed the unlikely source of her drive to succeed — famous prophet Shepherd Bushiri.

Jacqueline Bokosi Kilmer, chief executive of CTS Group of Companies, made the striking admission as she unveiled her firm’s third venture: CTS Auto Parts, a new spare parts outlet.

Speaking candidly after the launch, Kilmer said it is Malawi’s boldest entrepreneurs — Bushiri chief among them — who keep her pushing forward, no matter how loud the critics get.

She said she is inspired by how the well known preacher-turned-businessman has weathered relentless scrutiny without losing his stride.

And in a pointed message to her own doubters, Kilmer fired back:

“People also say many things about me, but I do not allow their words to discourage me. I will continue moving forward.”

Far from slowing down, the CTS boss says she’s only getting started — teasing the group’s next big move, CTS Travel, set to launch in the coming months.

With three subsidiaries now under her belt in quick succession, Kilmer appears determined to prove her critics wrong one launch at a time.
