Dave Banda’s return excites Kamuzu Barracks coach
Kamuzu Barracks (KB) Football Club coach Temwa Msuku has expressed excitement with the return of midfield workhorse and match maker Dave Banda who has been out of action for over nine months.
Banda was amongst a group of Malawi Defence Forces soldiers, who were carrying out an international peace keeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and returned on Tuesday 5th May, 2015.
However, Msuku said he will not rush in throwing the hard tackling midfielder into league action as he needs enough time to rest.
“I will give him one week to rest and the other week he starts light training before he can be featured for league games,” said Msuku.
According to the mentor, the team did not only miss his football talent antics but also leadership skills.
“We did not only miss his football skills but also his leadership. He is a good leader and his leadership skills motivate the rest of the players” he said.
