“Malawi in a few days,” tweeted the ‘See Gobe’ star this week.

Beam’s vice chairperson Collins Magalasi said Davido is coming to Malawi “as the international ambassador” of the initiative which has  also roped the services of the multiple award winning artist as its international ambassador as a way of luring financial support from across the globe.

The artist is scheduled to return to Malawi for a performance in April.

“We are looking for both local and international response of raising funds. We, therefore, settled for Davido as someone who can help us in that regard. That, however, does not mean that we are not working with local artists,” said Magalasi as quoted by the local press.

  3. Now you see fellow Malawians. This ‘Best Buy Malawi’ thing is for us not them. In fact, only low calibre Malawians associuate themselves with anything Nigerian. So it means when this nigerian returns to entertain madam BEAN, we shall see Indians buyin K11 million seats – though they cannot dance.

By the way, there is absolutetly no way Goodluck Jonathan could import Lawi to perform for him

  4. THE DIRTIEST BUS DEPORT IS IN MALAWI.PLEASE DONORS DO NOT GIVE BEAM MONEY I WARN U GIVE BEAM REFUSE COLLECTIN TRUCKS ETC INSTEAD.LET THEM WORK IT SEEMS MANTED TAKE OVER CITY COUNCIL DUTIES OR ELSE YO MONEY SHALL JUST BE SWAAA,SWALLOWED.BEWARE OF BEAM

  6. Why First Lady to waste time calling musian. If she has nothing to do, to think of developing the nation then she should just stay in state house. See the face of Negerian musian. The face tells. Armed robbery man or dangerous man. First Lady likes musians than presidents. You are dangerous woman. BEAM!BEAM! so what. We like our president but she want to shorten his life. Take care First Lady

  7. Way of sourcing funds! Za nac zatha!!! But nigerians are not the kind of to play with!!!!! If u think you can play and screw them, forget!!!!! Its them who will screw and fuck u!!!!! Idiots!!! Motherfuckers!!!! Pa thako panu nonse a beam trust!!!!!!

  9. This is how silly and stupid Malawi is seen by other African countries. Who is this musician first, and how can the whole first lady call upon a Nigerian at the expense of local artists. When you call upon Ursher or Beyonce or Jay Z the world would sit up and understand, not some nigerian thug. And when is BEAM going to start sweeping streets again?
