Discorium to host Morgan Heritage after party
“Ain’t no party like the Morgan party coz the Morgan party don’t stop” will be the song that reggae lovers will be singing after the Civo stadium afternoon concert as SoundFreak Entertainment and Judgement Yard are scheduled to hold an after party from 8pm at Discorium club.
According the organizers, SoundFreak Entertainment’s co-owner DJ iWayne, Joy Radio’s reggae dancehall DJ Spyda da Ryda and Selekta Kenzo B have also been billed to play at the after party.
Among others, DJ iWayne said the after party will give a chance to the fans to see the Morgan Heritage family up close and personal and take pictures.
“The after party will be at Discorium because it is a classy club. The place is decent that even the Morgan Family will appreciate. In addition, we chose Discorium because it is the biggest club in Lilongwe,” he explained when asked why the club was chosen to host the event.
The Dziko radio DJ further added that he will use the opportunity to his advantage, saying he wants to leave a signature in the mixing history.
“People should expect fire because we are all set as you can even see the list of DJs. These are well respected dancehall DJs in the country. Resident DJs Reubie and Spin will also do their thing on the boards. As for me, I wanna leave my signature in the mixing history,” he boasted.
In related news, Morgan Heritage team started arriving in the country on Tuesday with another team expected to arrive today (Wednesday) via Lilongwe International Airport.
According to media reports, the band has arrived early to put final touches on rehearsals in preparation for Saturday’s showdown.
They are expected to hold a press briefing at Capital Hotel on Thursday.
