DPP march for ‘restoration of democratic justice’
Ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has Monday organized a protest march in Blantyre against the February 3 landmark Constitutional Court presidential election case ruling which annulled the May 21, 2019 presidential election.

The court also ordered a fresh presidential election in July, 2020.
A notice from the party say the march will start from the DPP offices in Blantyre and march to civic offices where the DPP faithful will present a petition to the district commissioner.
The protest marches have been dubbed ‘march for the restoration of democratic justice.’
Similar marches are except in the eastern region on February 19, central region on February 24 and northern region on February 21.
In the presidential poll, DPP president Peter Mutharika is expected to battle it out at the ballot box with UTM’s Saulos Chilima and Malawi Congress Party’s Lazarus Chakwera.

You can hide the wealth behind the kids, wives and family, but the law will have to find its way. Look at this thief President who put all the wealth in her daughters name, now the daughters wealth has been freezed. We are not stupid. Malawi is small. We… Read more »
