Dzinkambani back as Coach for Silver Striker

Silver Strikers FC dramatically turned the clock back, reversed its earlier decision that fired Coach Dan Dzinkambani last month and have agreed to bring him back to restore lost glory.

“Daniel Dzinkambani is returning to Silver Strikers as head coach,” the club source told Nyasa Times in a move certain to be hugely popular with their loyal fans.

According to information sourced by Nyasa Times, a heated executive committee meeting earlier this week also agreed to bring back suspended vice chairman Daudi Mtanthiko and executive member Martin Chibweya.

Mwase; To revert as deputy coach

The two were suspended on charges that they were bringing confusion in the team, an allegation that was not substantiated by the executive.

Over the last two months, Silver has been grabbing the headlines for all the wrong reasons, blaming everyone for their poor performances in the Presidential Cup and their poor start to the season.

The central bankers have had their  worst start to the 2011/2012 TNM Super League season despite boosting of a pool of quality players amidst financial mismanagement allegations against its executive committee forcing sponsors Reserve Bank to institute an audit.

The team’s supporters committee was dissolved last week with a new one taking over after the teams unimpressive one all draw against Red Lions.

Things have not been rosy for the capital city giants on and off the pitch forcing the clubs under fire chairman Dr Mafuta Mwale to think of stepping down.

The central bankers’ next assignment is a tricky fixture against Mighty Wanderers this weekend. The team is on position 11 with five points under Coach Meke Mwase.
