Edgar and Davis to headline E-Wallet first eviction show
Malawi’s acoustic kings Edgar and Davis will headline the first eviction show of the 2015 E-Wallet talent competition slated for Saturday 7th November, 2015.
The show is scheduled to take place at the M-Theatre in the Commercial City of Blantyre.
According to E-Wallet Project Manager Anthony Kafuwa, four out of the 12 contestants will face the chop.
Kafuwa said all the contestants are currently camping at Monarchy square where they are also doing their rehearsals ahead of the big day.
He said the theme for the first eviction show is titled “Oldies, 80’s and 90’s”.
Meanwhile, voting is still in progress and voters can participate by sending the number of their favourite contestant to stay in the show by sending a text message of the number to 541541 using all networks.
The list of contestants include Mwayi Matiti and Kenwell Burton representing Northern Region, Shadreck Amos and Sigele Ackim representing the Central Region while Ernest Masi, Kelvin Zalimba,
Khumbo Manda, Jeremiah Chikhwaza, Shanice Tandwe, Rita Kalonga, Annie Kapanda and Eunice Mhango represent the Southern Region.
The 2015 E-Wallet talent show was launched a fortnight ago where contestants made their debut performances.
This year’s competition will be beamed on a number of television stations including Zodiak, Joy and Mtv.
The grand prize for this year is a brand new Nissan Tilda.
