Exhibit faith, and let God do the rest

Many times we have tried to take over battles that do not belong to us thinking that we can help God to fix the situation at hand. All this is done because we think God needs our help in one way or another which is not true at all. Many times in the Bible God has proved to us that when He takes over situations from his children, He does not need anybody’s help.jesus bible

Remember how the bible described Jericho as straitly shut up because of the children of Israel yet this is where one of the greatest victories took place with God’s children completely exhibiting faith in Him alone (Joshua 6:1). The strong fortress barred Israel’s entrance to the land which is the same with our lives that Satan will always have such a fortress to hinder our spiritual progress.

Even though it seemed impossible for the children of Israel to conquer Jericho, that was not the case with our God because what is impossible with man, is possible with God. Joshua 2 tells us that God told Joshua that “I have given into your hand Jericho”; even though at that point Joshua did not probably know whether they could be able to conquer Jericho.

Later we see that they were able to defeat and conquer Jericho by marching and following the instructions that god had given them which of course required them to exhibit faith in instructions that God gave them.

It is the same with us now that God is not expecting too much from us as long as we know that we are truly saved, spending time reading the bible, praying, praising  and worshipping God then faith will automatically start building up. How can you believe or have faith in something that you do not know much about?

This is where most people struggle a lot because they still want to be babies in the things of God. Where you were the time that you accepted Jesus Christ some 10 years ago,  is where you are even now. This is all because most people think there pastor will be praying for them. You have a headache at night and you sleep with that headache waiting for the pastor to pray for you tomorrow. Who told you that the power given to your pastor is not in you? The power is in you already for Jesus is in your heart and also the power of the tongue has been given to you meaning we can also command with our mouth and not waiting on specific people.

We do all have power but the difference is that the pastor is spending time in prayer, reading the word, worshiping and praising God which builds His faith. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that; “But without faith it is impossible to please Him”. Therefore faith has to be the foundation and principle of the manner in which God deals with the human race. Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God and there was completely nothing but He spoke into existence the things needed to create the universe.

It is my prayer that as you read the bible and let the word sink in your heart, faith should start building up which will allow you to stand with boldness and use your tongue to command on situations that seems impossible to leave you alone for authority and power has already been given to us.

Amen. Some people indeed trust the pastor more than they trust themselves. The pastor and you or I have equal access to God.

This is very very true. Let God alone fight our battle and put trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
