Felicia says life goes on after BBA, lover break up

Felicia Ngoma, who made headlines while in Big Brother Amplified show after complaining that she was sexually starved since joining the house, says she is coping as a single mum after breaking up with her boyfriend and that her life goes on.

The 24-year-old told Nyasa Times in an exclusive interview that her life after Big Brother has been “fantastic”, saying it has been a combination of busy schedules, interacting with high profile people and recognition from the corporate world since she attained her celebrity status.

“Big Brother Amplified has indeed brought about a positive impact into my life, great exposure, a wide platform whereby I can begin a very good career especially in the entertainment industry and lots of other opportunities,” Felicia said from Lilongwe.

Felicia who was evicted in 70th day in the reality show said she is still keen to start a career in the media industry. She did financial accounting course.

“The public has great expectations from me. A lot of young girls look up to me as well which I do not take it for granted. Therefore am working towards a foundation which will also bring an impact to the public,” she said.

In the reality show, she had asked for a psychologist to help deal with her high sex drive, saying while at home she faced same problems and “it gets better when I speak to my boyfriend.”

But Felicia said she is able to cope as a single mum after breaking up with her boyfriend, Chiletso Shati, who is resident in UK.

Felicia says she is still keeping in touch with her former housemate in the Big Brother. She disclosed that she will be travelling to Kenya this week to “support” Millicent Mugadi in her upcoming project.

On her part, Felicia says she is working on new projects, which she did not disclose but hailed support from various institutions helping her including the Chief Executive Officer of Lilongwe City Council.
