Fix bus, FAM orders Luso TV: Wanderers blame crazy jubilation to brreakdown

Luso TV has been ordered by Football Association of Malawi (FAM) to be responsible to fix the   K25 million worth 26-seater Nissan Caravan bus before it is registered by Be Forward Wanderers.

The Bus at Nissan Malawi premises in Blantyre

Wanderers won the bus after a  back to back victories over their age-old rivals Nyasa Big Bullets with a 5-1 aggregate score  in a Luso TV football bonanza.

But the bus had a breakdown at Manjawira, Ntcheu when the team player were aboard in their way back to Blantyre.

“The bus has to be registered  by the Dirrectorate of Road Traffic and Luso TV will have to fix  it before handing over to Wanderers,” FAM Secretray general Alfre Gunda said.

The bus developed serious clutch plate faults spoiling the  mood of the players.

Meanwhile, Wanderers vice-chairperson Gift Mkandawire said the bus developed the fault because the crazy players had to drive the bus  each and everone even those that were not qualified drivers.

“It was free for all to drive and that affected the bus,” Mkandawire.

The bus has since been taken to Nissan Malawi garage in Blantyre.

  3. You should see the bigger picture. Kkkkkk aMalawi alowa kuba tsopano. Luso TV made huge profits from gate takings at Bingu Stadium more than they spent to bring that old rotten chiphapha Nissan minibus. If the company that manned the gates made US$4,000 equivalent how much did Luso TV make? This bus will cost you around US$2,500 fair price in Japan. Iyi ndi Lusogate big time! FAM you are culpable in this thievery. You ought to vet some of these prizes before sanctioning such crowd pulling games. You are lowering football standards in the country. You are killing the game of soccer. If Luso TV indeed wanted to promote football alowe muCFAO or Toyota and buy a brand new minibus osati zomakatitengela ana m’gogoda owola wola kuJapan ngati awa ndikumati akupanga promote Malawian football. Malawian football deserves better not this chicanery!

  4. I think a FAM ndi amisala choti Luso Tv chakhuze pamenepa ndi chani pomwe amangoyendetsa aliyense.Kodi kapena inu a FAM mumasapota wanderers?Mumaikondela bwanji?Luso Tv ngati ikundimva asakonzese min bus imeneyo.Kuli bwino akakumane ku court akapezeke olakwa chilungamo chikaziwike.

  5. no need for LUSO TV to pay for the garage services, anena kuti aliyense amangoyendetsa even yemwe si driver.
    In short bus awononga wokha.

  6. In all fairness, Wanderers should repair the bus because they simply damaged it by letting each and every player drive it. It’s stupid and ignorant on the part of management to allow such perilous activity to occur. Luso did their part, basi

  7. Dats unfair to Luso TV coz awononga okha ma players a Noma Bus koma mukufuna Luso tv ikonze pali chilungamo? Tikamanena kuti Fam ndi ya Noma ndekuti tikulakwitsa?

  8. KAYA BUS YAVUTA KAYA AYI BOLA IFE TAPANGA MBIRI YOMENYA BULLETS CHAKA CHATHA KOMANSO CHAKA CHINO CHA 2017 KUKHALA IYO YOYAMBA KUFA CHAKA CHINO PAMASEWERO AMPIRA.

  9. FAM GS, why should Luso fix the bus when its the players who contributed to the breakdown as conceded by Wanderers Vice Chairperson?
