Gaba ready for Sundowns clash
Malawi star striker Gabadinho Mhango is raring to go to face South Africa PSL league leaders Sundowns on Saturday.
Mhango, on loan from Bidvests, told Kickoff that everyone was ready for the Sundowns.
“For me and the rest of the team—the coaches, the technical staff, everyone we are prepared,” Mhango said.
“As a player it is my job to score when on the pitch. I don’t feel like I am playing. But when I score I feel like I’m in the game.”
The Malawian striker, who made his debut for Golden Arrows at the weekend is set to start again as Mabhuti Khenyeza has been ruled out after suffering a bout of flu and has no trained with the team for the past two days.
Gaba, who once worked with Larsen Clinton while at Blomfontein Celtic says he is enjoying working with his former coach once again.
“I enjoy playing under every coach, and every coach is good for me,” he said. “But he (Larsen) tells me where to go on the pitch.”
He hopes Arrows finish in a good position this season.
“For Arrows we need to achieve and play hard and win more games and finishing in a good position at the end of the season.”
