This follows reports from various South Africa’s online sports magazine websites that Gabeya is among the four foreign players currently being assesed at Kaizer Chiefs.

Kaizer Chiefs through its official website www.kaizerchiefs.com confirmed that they are assessing four foreign based players including Malawian born 20 year old Gabeya.

The other three players are Italian Gustavo Paez (26), Brazillian Pedro Henrique Dias DeAmorim (24) and Ivorian Ismael Olivier Toure (19).

According to on-line reports, Chiefs will make announcement concerning any possible player movements within the transfer period.

The South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) transfer window opened on 3rd January and is expected to close on 31st January 2017.

“The club will make an announcement if there are player movement during the transfer window opened on 3 January and will close on 31 January,” reads part of the statement on Kaizer Chiefs Website.

But commenting on the matter, Big Bullets Acting General Secretary Bizy Kalodzeni said as club they are not aware of Gabeya’s trials at Chiefs.

“Kalodzeni said Gabeya left the country on ‘conditions’ that he is heading to South Africa to visit family relations” -. Please, Nyasatimes improve your writing. See the quoted sentence. This implies you suspected that Gabeya was travelling to South Africa for another agenda other than visiting family relations, and you allowed him to travel on condition that he only visits his relations.
