Gemini Major releases new video ‘Ragga Ragga’ featuring SA’s Riky Rick, Cassper Nyovest, Nadia
South African based, Malawian born, fast rising artist Gemini Major has released the video for his smash hit “Ragga Ragga” featuring SA’s Riky Rick, Cassper Nyovest, Nadia Nakai & Major League DJz.
The video which was released yesterday was first premiered on Channel O at 4PM before appearing later again at 7:30PM on Channel O’s TurnUpChO program hosted by Scoop Makhathini.
Since its release the video has received an overwhelming response and is Gemini’s third video release this year under the Family Tree Label since dropping “One Night Stand” and “Badmanting ” ft. Aewon Wolf earlier this year.
Real name Benn Gilbert Kamoto, Gemini Major has been rubbing shoulders with some of the greats in the South African music industry, such as Khuli Chana, Aewon Wolf, Buffalo Souljah and DJ Waxxy just to mention a few.
Apart from collabos Gemini Major also produces and is well known for producing Nasty C’s major hit “Juice Back” which earned him a 2015 Producer of the year nomination at the SA Hip Hop Awards.
Gemini Major was previously in the country for a short visit that saw him interacting with a few of Malawi’s local artists such as, Tay Grin, Sonye, Bucci, Engolah and DJ Nathan Tunes, before flying back to South Africa to finish off the “Ragga Ragga” video shoot.
Slated to perform at this year’s Malawi UMP Festival on November 6th at the BAT Ground in Blantyre Gemini Major will be back in the country performing as an international headliner alongside Malawi’s Pop Dogg, who is currently based in Dublin Ireland.
