Many times people have filled themselves with thoughts thinking God is no longer with them because of what they have done. God has promised many times in the bible that He will always be with us no matter what the situation is. “…I will never leave you, nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).
There are many scriptures that talks about people that walked away from God, but when they realized and called on the name of God, God immediately heard there prayers and delivered them.
The story of the prodigal son does not only tell us about a son who was unruly to the father. It is actually a great story of salvation because the son thought he could do better on his own with his portion that he got from the father.
The truth is that he failed, suffered until he reached the point that he realized he needed to go back to the father and request to just be like a servant. The father took him back as his own son and celebrated his coming back.
It is the same with us that God is just waiting for us to come back to our senses, realizing that there is nothing we can do on our own without Him. When we go back to Him, He does not even remember our past sins (Hebrews 8:12).
God is always looking for the time we will realize on our own the need of a Savior. He will never force us into something that we do not want. The only thing that He does is creating many opportunities for us to realize that we need a savior.
Remember that when the enemy sees what God is about to do in your life, there will be opposition. Anything that is truly of the Lord will always meet great opposition from the enemy. But do not fear for you are not alone, God is always there with you according to His promise.
Remember the story of the Hebrew boys Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. It reached a point that they were thrown in the fiery furnace but they still stood by their God and refused to worship the golden image.
Something happened in the furnace that surprised Nebuchadnezzar. There was a fourth man in the midst of the fire, and they had no hurt; and the fourth person was the Son of God (Daniel 3:25).
It is the same with us now, if we really hold on to our God, He will always be with us and nothing will stop us because of what we did before we came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. For we are the reason why He came, without us failing there would have been no need for Him to come.Follow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
